I’ll admit I was skeptical when I saw singer Rita Ora recently launched a line of hair care products under the brand TYPEBEA. After all, the past few years have felt like a nonstop merry-go-round of celebrity beauty brands. But since I’ve been on a bit of a journey with my hair health, I decided to give it a try.
So for the past four weeks, I’ve been using the TYPEBEA product suite, which includes G1 Overnight Boosting Peptide Serum, G2 Strength & Length Shampoo, G3 Strength & Length Conditioner, and G4 Hydra Gloss Treatment Mask. This is my honest impression of TYPEBEA hair care.
TYPEBEA Growth Range Review Verdict
Our Rating: 8 out of 10 Reasons for Rating (8/10): No extra features needed, so it’s hassle-free hair care. That’s really all you need.
Strong Points
Gives hair a salon-like shine Suitable for all hair types pH balanced and free of sulfates, silicones and parabens
Cons
A little pricey on the hair care scale, but requires quite a bit of shampoo to get good lather
What’s so special about the TYPEBEA Growth Range?
Shampoos and conditioners should not be complicated. That’s why I love TYPEBEA shampoo and conditioner. My hair looks perfectly shiny, shiny and healthy after every wash.
TYPEABEA’s shampoo and conditioner retail for $40 each, which is relatively cheaper than other high-end competitors that sell for as low as 16 cents per milliliter. This hair care suite is pH-balanced, meaning it’s free of sulfates, silicones and parabens, meaning it’s gentle on your hair and scalp. 250 mL of shampoo and conditioner will last you at least 20-30 washes. Suitable for all hair types, from thick and curly to thin and oily. The sulfate-free, pH-balanced formula won’t strip color from your hair. The products are formulated to help promote hair growth, manage split ends, and fight dry hair.

What are others saying about it?
“I’m really happy with these products! It’s only been a week. I’ve only been using shampoo and conditioner, but my hair has never felt better. I have very thinning of my scalp. I am using a growth serum on the affected areas, and I have not used a hair mask yet, hoping that it will stimulate growth even a little.
“After the first wash I wasn’t sure, but after the second wash, mask and night serum, I was convinced. My hair already felt lighter and no residue from old products. It’s finally gone from my scalp. This product hasn’t damaged my hair color, in fact it doesn’t seem to have improved it. I’m excited to continue my journey. I hope they will introduce a post-treatment holiday to complete their routine.”
How to use
TYPEBEA has a 4-step hair care routine called Growth Range. These include G1 Overnight Boosting Peptide Serum, G2 Strength & Length Shampoo, G3 Strength & Length Conditioner, and G4 Hydra Gloss Treatment Mask.
Overnight serums must be applied directly to your hands or scalp right before bed to work their magic. Then, when you’re ready to wash your hair, use G2 Shampoo and G3 Conditioner or G4 Gloss Treatment Mask instead.
test results
The TYPEBEA products we tested were excellent and did their job well. The Growth Range has four products, but I was more drawn to the shampoo and conditioner.
The hair mask was great even for someone like me who doesn’t do much maintenance with her hair. As for the growth serum, I have no concerns about hair growth, but I tried it to review the range. So, while I can’t attest to its hair growth abilities, I was impressed with how watery the texture of the serum was. In the past I have used scalp serums and they were very greasy and made my hair look oily.
However, the real stars of the show are the shampoo and conditioner. Just bring it into the shower and use it like anything else. Even if you don’t blow dry your hair (which I usually don’t), you’ll still end up with shiny, fresh-looking hair.
Overall, is TYPEBEA worth it?
To be honest, I’m not a very high maintenance person when it comes to my hair, so I don’t really care about it that much. Since I have naturally wavy hair, I’ve always let it air dry and leave it where I want it. But as a beauty writer, I’ve tried countless hair care products at different price points and formulations. Overall, TYPEBEA is my favorite and a mainstay in my hair care routine.
The first day I used it, I received a compliment at work about how shiny my mane looked. Later that same night, I noticed that my hair was indeed very shiny. Until then, my hair was dull and I thought that unless I booked a hair gloss treatment at a hair salon, I would not be able to get shiny hair.
Overall, these are hassle-free products that do a great job of making your hair look beautiful. It will continue to remain in my beauty routine for the foreseeable future.
