The Cosmetify Hair Care report ranks the top 10 most popular hair care brands in 2024.
Kérastase, owned by L’Oréal, ranked first with 12.8 million searches per year. Kérastase also has a strong social media presence, with 2.4 million followers on Instagram and 77,000 followers on TikTok.
Gisou’s annual searches have doubled in the past year to 3.4 million. Gisou is also the most followed ranked brand on TikTok with 858,300 followers. The brand also secured the highest engagement rate on Instagram at 2.3%.
Unilever’s K18 brand came in third with 5.3 million annual searches. Despite having a small number of followers on Instagram (866,374), K18 has a high TikTok engagement rate of 2.38%.
