Taylor Swift may start her Ellas tour shows with straight hair, but depending on whether it’s a humid or rainy show, her long hair may revert to its super curly “factory setting.” And at a recent concert in Germany, the Swifties declared that Karl was “everything”.
On Tuesday, July 23rd, the pop superstar performed the first of two consecutive shows in Hamburg.
During the more than three-hour concert, her hair became wet due to the rainy weather as she sang and danced. And as it progressed, her natural curls became more and more pronounced.
Swifties took to social media to express their adoration for the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” singer. “Her curly hair is what #HamburgTSTheErasTour is all about,” one X user declared, sharing a clip of the 34-year-old from her Torture Poet Division days.
“Petition to Taylor Swift to stop straightening her hair,” wrote another X user.
Meanwhile, another joked: “Hair straightening department.”
In response, one Swiftie commented, “The factory settings are really shocking.”
As fans well know, this wasn’t the first time Swift’s hair reacted to the elements during a show. Clips uploaded via X Swift’s March 3 Ella’s Tour show at a concert in Singapore showed her dealing with intense curls.
“As you can see, the humidity here has brought my hair back to its factory settings,” she joked. “I have no complaints, I like it.”

Swift hasn’t fully incorporated curls into her everyday look in this hot moment, but fans clearly don’t think she would mind that. Either way, she’s killing people there!
