Recently, new hair care brands have been appearing one after another. We’re used to new product ranges arriving without us knowing exactly who’s behind them, but the recent wave of brand launches have all come from established hair experts. From JVN’s nourishing range to color guru Justin Anderson’s range that has finally arrived in the UK, our hair is truly being treated. But one product line that stands out for me is Adam Reed’s Arkive Headcare.

This day is a wash day after using shampoo, conditioner, primer, and oil.
I’ve long been a huge fan of Adam Reid, admiring his editorial flair, clear technique, and warm personality, so I knew I’d love his product when it finally launched. . However, I never expected that I would become so obsessed with it. Firstly, there’s something for everyone, from thin to thick hair, catering to all needs, and all formulas are vegan. This product really works (more on that later) and is affordable, starting from just £3. Many of the hair care products we beauty journalists recommend are professional products designed to preserve the longevity of your color or cut, but these are salon-quality products made by hairdressers and don’t need a hefty price tag. This is very important.
Plus, it smells heavenly. As a self-confessed hyperbole, I often say “the best thing ever”, but I have to say that this is some of the best smelling hair products I’ve ever used. That’s not an exaggeration. You can tell that a lot of thought has gone into the sensory experience of styling your hair, making the product even more enjoyable to use. Here are my thoughts on the new series.

Let’s all cleanse together now
Perfect for naturally curly to coiled hair. Personally, I’m not a fan of co-washing in general as it requires a strong shampoo to wash away product build-up. But this is a nice, gentle cleanser, and I actually find it perfect for when I have to wash my hair twice a week (which I don’t usually do). My strands didn’t fall out, instead my hair felt healthy and moisturized.

all day everyday shampoo
Yes, you can use this shampoo daily if you wash your hair regularly, but I use this as a weekly wash and am fine with that too. It lathers well, but it doesn’t dry when you wash it off. I continued with the mask and my hair doesn’t gasp for it.
3. Archive The Allday Everyday Conditioner
archive
Daily conditioner that can be used all day long
This conditioner is not too thick, so it’s perfect for fine to medium hair types. The included protein is perfect for delicate hair.
4. Archive The Future Youth Treatment Mask

Future Youth Treatment Mask
Really recommended for dry hair types. I prefer this instead of conditioner, so if you have thick hair, you’ll probably prefer this. Contains baobab oil and shea butter, so it’s very nourishing and helps detangle hair.
5. Archive The Crown Scalp Scrub

The Crown Scalp Scrub
I’m not the biggest fan of physical scalp scrubs because they’re too hard to wash out, but I gave this to a friend to test and she absolutely loved it. Contains a blend of oils, fruit enzymes, and menthol for exfoliation and scalp health.
6. Archive The Root In Scalp Serum

Root in scalp serum
A great addition to your scalp care routine to soothe and moisturize your scalp. I applied it the night before I washed my hair, and it was fine even when I slept.
7.Archive The Prologue Hair Primer

prologue hair primer
This is my favorite product in the lineup. Perfectly prepares hair for heat styling, protects from super high temperatures, holds hair without frizz, and sets to prevent frizz.
8. Archives The New Form Broad Dry Spray
archive
New form of blow dry spray
If you love a bouncy blow-dry but feel like it falls off too quickly and loses volume, this is for you. Spray on wet hair from root to tip and blow dry. Adds body to freshly washed hair without making it sticky or dry.
9.Archive the Mastery Hairspray

mastery hairspray
I think this is like a souped up version of a hair primer. Since it is a non-aerosol, it is in liquid form, but it can be solidified with heat. It doesn’t give you the hold that canned hairspray does, but it also doesn’t give you the crispiness.
10. Archives The Good Habit Hybrid Oil

good habit hybrid oil
This oil is the highest quality finishing serum. Smooth from length to ends to firmly set your style and enhance shine. It’s not a hair care oil, but it’s a great styling product that’s light and concentrated.
11.Archive The Movement Dry Texturizing Spray

The Movement Dry Texturing Spray
If you want texture and volume, but also want to maintain movement in your hair, look no further.
12. Archive The Reset Dry Shampoo

reset dry shampoo
Every hair care brand has a dry shampoo these days, but I have to say Arikve’s shampoo is one of the best. It not only removes oily roots, but also adds volume and texture and leaves no chalky residue behind.
13. Archive the Body Hybrid Mousse

The Body Hybrid Mousse
This multi-tasking mousse is completely different from traditional formulas and is neither crunchy nor sticky. Instead, it adds glossy shine and long-lasting hold while maintaining flexibility.
14. Archive The Headliner Modern Definition Gel

Headliner Modern Definition Gel
This gel is one of Arikve’s newest launches and is sure to become a bestseller. It’s great for adding definition to your curls and (thanks to the aloe vera) keeps your hair moisturized in the process.

Some of Arkive’s best sellers are now available in miniature format, perfect for travel. This set includes a mini shampoo, conditioner, hair oil, and mask, so it’s perfect for on-the-go or as an introduction for brand newbies.
