We know those days – you know, bad days (and sometimes really bad hair days). We choose all kinds of volumizing shampoos, foaming hair mousses and bottled treatments just to make our hair look beautiful again.
But such experiments can be quite expensive, especially with the hundreds of hair products on the market. So let your 9-to-5 product testers (like me!) show you how.
I’ve been experimenting with hair care products long before I interviewed for the New York Post Shopping, and now my hair care closet has more than 100 products (I know, I know, that’s why I’m on the right track. ).
The good news? You don’t have to spend above your pay grade to fix effective and great products on your hair. Everyone’s hair type is different, but mine is a true hybrid (naturally curly, occasionally frizzy, and fine to medium-length when blow-dried straight).
Ahead, you’ll find tried-and-true hair care products, all under $25, that we heartily recommend to our loved ones.
From hair spray to hair rollers, you might want to add some (or, let’s be honest, everything) to your wishlist or shopping cart. That said, you can just buy it, try it, and cry (tears of happiness because your hair looks so good).

If you have a little extra time when styling your hair and want a salon-quality blowout, reach for the Drybar High-Top Self-Gripping Roller. This six pack is one of the only things I’ve used that actually stays in my hair. Oh, and the largest roller for the front piece would also be welcome. The result is a bouncy yet natural-looking “swoop.”

Introducing Odele, a hair care brand whose name means “to share” in Norwegian. I have been a fan of adwoa Beauty for many years. This brand just has a knack for making curly and coily hair types shine, but when we spoke to Sephora’s beauty director, she said, “This is a product that everyone needs to use at least once.” ” he said.

Virtue is one of my favorite hair care brands these days (read: the best hair mousses we review), and their Volumizing Full Shampoo for fine hair is truly one of the best hair care brands out there.
