What is the origin of the name? Well, that’s Lively herself. Her father’s last name was originally Brown and her mother’s maiden name was Lively. Exclusive to Target, the hair care brand launched with eight products based on Lively’s personal habits. The assortment includes Sandalwood Strengthening Shampoo and Amber Vanilla Dry Shampoo, which can be used in combination. Lively said on Instagram that her hair is her “longest companion” and that “like any relationship, it’s healthiest to take care of each other.”
In an exclusive interview with Vogue, the actress revealed that the secret to her hair is simple: use two sets of shampoo and a hair mask. I don’t use conditioners, just moisturizing masks and shampoos that hydrate and strengthen. She believes these two essentials are necessary for all hair types.
Her proven process involves alternating between the two shampoos and leaving the hair mask on for about 30 seconds with each wash. For example, Lively uses a strengthening wash one day and a moisturizing wash the other. This is very simple.
