As the summer sun fades and autumn rains creep in, hairstyle changes are on the rise. After all, with a new season comes a new haircut, or so the old saying goes. Ah, among the many styles, what’s the one that seems to be exploding? The bob! And lucky for you, today’s inspiration comes directly from our favorite, Camila Cabello.
Over the weekend, Camila attended the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, alongside other pop stars, including Dua Lipa and Gwen Stefani. While we were excited to see her perform onstage (she was on the front of a BMX bike, by the way), it was her cropped haircut that really caught our attention with her beauty look.

Camila’s longtime friend, Dimitris Giannetos, known as the hairstylist to some of Hollywood’s biggest names (Megan Fox, Kim Kardashian, Joey King, etc.), shared a photo of her new hairstyle on Instagram, which he calls the “Birkin Bob.”
While the origins of the name have not been revealed, we can only assume it was inspired by British-French actor Jane Birkin – after all, the style is similar to Jane’s own iconic look.

However, this style is a little longer than your typical bob, so if you end up joining the bob crowd, be sure to let your hairdresser know the length you want. Whatever your style, be it a Birkin, a tuck, or a laser cut bob, there’s a style for everyone.
