Riley Arnold embodied the spirit of Christina Aguilera on Dancing with the Stars.
Arnold, 19, appeared alongside Steven Nedorosic at the 33rd Annual Academy Awards on Tuesday, September 24, and dazzled in platinum hair with thick black highlights (a striking resemblance to Aguilera’s 2002 hairstyle). Her blonde hair, which she usually wears in voluminous curls, was parted and straightened at the front, then braided into a French braid tucked behind her ear.
Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Superman look included a cherry red plunging neckline bodysuit with long sleeves, black buttons and an open back to match the hairstyle. The look was teamed with a floor-length open skirt and strappy brown sandals.
Ahead of the show, Arnold gave fans a glimpse of her look on TikTok: “My hair tonight is giving me major Christina Aguilera vibes ✨🫶🏼🤭,” the pro captioned the post.

Aguilera, 43, debuted the two-tone look at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2002. At the time, she wore her hair down and straight in a fishtail braid.

He wore a white undershirt and plaid tie reminiscent of Clark Kent before changing into his Superman costume. At the start of the dance, the Olympian removed his glasses and quickly changed into a red embellished vest, an undershirt featuring the American flag and loose pants.

Ms. Riley and Ms. Nedorosic, who danced a Paso Doble to the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra’s “Superman – Main Theme,” received a total score of 22 out of a possible 30 points.
