Finally! Warner Bros. has officially released the first trailer for Sinners, the latest film from acclaimed director Ryan Coogler and his new collaboration with Michael B. Jordan.
We’ve been following this film for a while now since its initial cryptic announcement, but plot details have been kept a closely guarded secret since the project was first announced, with the action-packed trailer offering only the tiniest glimpses of the film’s plot, while the official plot remains mysterious.
“Twin brothers (Jordan) return home to try to escape their troubled lives and start afresh, only to discover that an even greater evil awaits them upon their return.”
Now, onto the trailer, which contains an ominous line: “If you keep dancing with the devil, one day he’ll follow you home.”
Coogler will both write and direct the film, with Jordan playing the dual role of twin brothers, and the cast also includes Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jamie Lawson, Omar Benson Miller and Delroy Lindo.
It is being produced by Coogler’s Proximity Media, with longtime collaborators Sev Ohanian and Zinji Coogler also serving as producers. The executive producing team includes Ludwig Göransson, Will Greenfield and Rebecca Cho. Many of Coogler’s frequent collaborators are also attached to the project, including cinematographer Autumn Durald Arkapaw, production designer Hannah Beachler, editor Michael P. Shover, music composer Göransson and costume designer Ruth E. Carter.
Sinners is scheduled to hit theaters on March 7, 2025. Check out the trailer below.
