When Brooke Shields cordially invites you to chat all things hair care, of course you’ll gladly accept and be prepared to secure a special behind-the-scenes gem. That being said, I also take notes. Take lots of notes.
I met this legendary actress, model, and now brand founder in New York on a cloudy and humid Wednesday (balmy fall weather, so feel free to come by any time now!) . Still, despite the weather, her hair looks salon-fresh and cascading. The waves somehow ignore the sticky air and bounce softly. how did she do it? Fortunately, I didn’t have to wonder for too long. Shields has given me all the weather-defying hair tips, including a line of products she swears will revive my four-day-old breakouts. Check out the details below.
Brooke Shields Duo, Day 4 Supermodel Hair

2-in-1 instant dry shampoo

Detangler to enhance shine
First, apply a 2-in-1 instant shampoo to your roots to absorb excess oil, making sure to reach the inner part where your scalp meets your neck. “I don’t want to brush my pimples out too much, because that’s not good either,” she says. Rather, she fluffs the hair to blend the product until it’s all absorbed into the scalp (which, by the way, leaves no powdery residue at all).
She doesn’t run her fingers through the length of her hair to avoid breaking the curls. However, she uses the just-launched Shine-Enhancing Detangler to smooth out any knots or frizz that may have built up over time. “I primarily use a detangler when I’m working out, putting my hair in a ponytail, or blowing in the wind,” explains Shields. She squirts the nozzle all over her body and combs her hair to disperse the product.
The detangling formula contains special vegan Kerazyme, which protects hair from free radicals, enhances shine and prevents hair color from fading. In other words, it will make your old speech bubbles look like new.
“You can use it on dry hair during the day,” Shields added. “There’s no buildup. It’s like a protective layer that acts as a buffer between pollution and the outside world.” She also uses it to put her daughter’s hair into French braids before bed and , says her hair eagerly absorbs all the hair-nourishing ingredients overnight. “In the morning, it’s completely dry,” says Shields, referring to the lack of residue.
Now, back to the topic of explosions. Shields agrees that this duo is top-notch for second- and third-day hair (“I did it on day four, too, and it got better,” she says), but Great for *really* old breakouts that are begging for it If you want a little more volume, use the 3-in-1 leave-in conditioner instead. It contains quinoa peptides, which thicken hair from the roots, and technically has a thicker consistency than a detangler, but Shields vows it won’t weigh down your hair. Masu. In fact, it gives your hair the moisture it needs to maintain its bounce and softness, “especially after a plane ride,” she says.

3-in-1 leave-in conditioner
“I have a history of doing just about everything to my hair,” says Shields. “It was every color… it went through the wringer. There’s a lot of damage that had to be undone.” So she decided to give her hair the nutrients it needed one grain at a time. .
