For as long as we can remember, Heidi Klum has stuck to her signature hairstyle: long blonde hair. Sure, she’s experimented with color-changing Instagram filters and different shades of blonde, but it’s remained pretty much the same for over 30 years. But she just shook things up in a subtle but controversial way during her debut at Paris Fashion Week.
In case you missed it, on September 27th, Klum not only returned to the runway, but also made her Paris Fashion Week debut at Vetements’ Spring 2025 show. For the walk, she wore leather pants, pointy heels, a shirt that said “Polizei,” meaning police in German, and a black trench coat. But it was her new hairstyle that stole the show. Her curly blonde bangs show off her black roots.

Klum also shared a clip from the show on her Instagram with the caption, “@vetements_official Thank you for having me on your show, Gram.” I loved it 😊 and I love you ❤️”
Now, even though bangs have been a controversial style for years, Klum has rocked them before. But this time, she subtly changed things up by curling her hair and showing off her dark roots at the same time. That is, it is Y2K coded.
In a previous interview with SheKnows, Klum said that she has “too much personality” when it comes to her personal style. Sometimes I want to be sassy, sometimes I want to be super sexy, sometimes I want to be a business Barbie, sometimes I want to be bohemian… so it’s all very eclectic.”
