Agnes Gyllensvärd (@agnesgyllensvard) regularly posts hair tutorials and hacks on TikTok, where she has over 85,000 followers. The creator recently sparked a discussion within the digital community when she revealed how to mimic a salon-quality blow-dry on the go using three heatless curlers.
In the comments section of the video, she shared that her hair was “95 percent” dry before wrapping the heatless curler around a large chunk of hair and letting it sit for about 40 minutes.
Viewers noticed that when Gilenswald removed her heatless curlers, she revealed bouncy waves similar to those created at a salon or with expensive tools.
The video is overlaid with text that reads, “How much I trust my hair,” with the author adding in the caption, “I’ll never give you a reason not to.”
The short-style video has been viewed more than 3.1 million times since being shared on TikTok on September 4, garnering more than 406,000 likes and 376 comments. Viewers online praised Gilenswald’s effortless curls, while noting that her hair was not left in for too long or intricately set, making it hard to achieve this look with other hair types. We joked about how difficult it was.
“Personally, my hair and I have never trusted each other,” said one viewer, known on the platform as Emma Falk.
Another viewer, @crxyypt, commented on the video: “Mine fell off within 30 minutes. I used hairspray with a mouse and it didn’t fall off.”
