Sabrina Carpenter’s hairstylist Scott King has revealed exactly what he does to keep her hair perfect while performing.

But now hairstylist Scott King, the mastermind behind her touring hairstyles, has explained exactly how she achieves and maintains her look on stage.

On Short and Sweet Tour, Sabrina’s hair is styled in long, luscious, romantic curls that match the album’s playful vibe. Throughout the 90-minute show, her long, voluminous hair bounces and holds its shape in the heat and movement of Sabrina’s high-energy performance.
There are several theories floating around the TikTok community at the moment, with some speculating that Sabrina may be wearing a half-wig made from her own natural hair. Others theorize that she also uses extensions to keep her hair full and voluminous.
But as it turns out, that may not actually be the case.
Describing Sabrina’s tour look, celebrity hairstylist Scott King wrote on Instagram: “I blow-dried Sabrina’s hair with my @wavytalkofficial hairdryer using overdirect for maximum volume,” she wrote.
Once dry, I used the Wavy Talk 5-in-1 curling wand set with the 1-inch attachment to set the hair into small 1-inch sections. After the hair cooled, I let her hair down and combed the curls with a wide comb, causing the curls to separate a little but still retain their bouncy curl shape. ”
Scott declined to say whether Sabrina uses extensions or a hairpiece to add volume to her hair. According to the caption, he simply uses the blow-drying technique.

Creating a look for a concert show is very different from creating a look for a red carpet, Scott told PEOPLE while styling Sabrina’s 2023 Mails I Can’t Send Tour. I explained that.
“We want to create a signature look that can withstand 1.5 hours of running, dancing and performing,” he said. At the time, Scott was using several different products from Hairstory, including Power Dry Shampoo to “maintain volume and volume in my hair throughout the show.”
