So when I had the chance to speak with Joseph Altuzarra, a luxury designer known for his sleek, modern, and simply cool aesthetic, I was of course asked which fashion-forward hairstyles he predicts will dominate the holiday season. “I love a very clean, sophisticated look,” says Altuzarra. “I love a little pony or a little bun.” You’re probably thinking, “Well, a slicked back bun isn’t necessarily a groundbreaking hair trend,” but that’s why Altuzarra We consider this style a holiday staple. It exudes a classic appeal that is sophisticated and timeless. “I’m a kid from the Tom Ford era, so I’m definitely drawn to that,” Altuzarra explains. In other words, an all-back hairstyle is always a chic choice for the holiday season. And if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
But that doesn’t mean bread has to be boring. From face-framing tendrils to braided knots to chunky hair accessories, there are countless ways to play with your sleek back style. Feel free to switch according to your preference.
