Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2025 is coming to a close, but we’ve been drawing plenty of sartorial inspiration from the front rows, the runways, and the streets. In the front row, celebs from Zendaya with her faux pixie cut to Naomi Campbell with her shitty bob gave us plenty of hair inspiration (lesson learned? I’m going to go short this summer). And the runways are always full of beauty trends.
While we love runway and celebrity moments for style and beauty inspiration, street style is also dear to our hearts. Throughout fashion month, we’ve seen Bridgerton core, the rise of flat shoes, and the dominance of brown leather bags. Nowadays there are a lot of flashy dresses, loafers and capacious coffee-colored carrier bags, but it’s time to turn your attention to the beauty of street style.
From OTT hair accessories to wet-look curls, bleached mullets and deconstructed chignon, these are the hair trends we’ll be wearing from the streets of Paris into summer.

wet look wave
Wet-look curls, especially fringes, were all over the streets at Paris Fashion Week, with guests rocking their bobs, buns and bangs in soft (but definitely not crunchy) curls.

clips and accessories

exposed mullet
Run to your local pharmacy and pick up a bottle of Hylift. In Paris, the color de jour was emphasized in the 90s. It was usually worn in a feathered mullet style.

bow, bow, bow
The “very modest” TikTok trend may have died down and the coquette core may have disappeared from the TikTok algorithm, but ribbons are still one of the easier statement-making hair accessories. Whether oversized or delicately tucked behind the ears, ribbons dotted the streets of Paris Fashion Week, adding instant flair to hairstyles.

folds
Preppy horse girl styles, braids, or decorative braids worn with mini tendrils were seen all over PFW. We will practice our techniques.

disassembled chignon
What’s more “French girl” than an artistically messy chignon? This quintessentially French hairstyle was seen all over the city at PFW, with guests rocking buns twisted, spiky, and deconstructed.
