There’s no denying that professional treatment is more effective, but you just can’t beat the convenience of home devices. Think about it. Within a few weeks, you might wake up with prickly holes, smooth legs, and no pesky ingrown hairs in your bikini line. It sounds too good to be true.

What is laser hair removal?
According to Brandi Gregge, FNP-BC, MBA, laser hair removal is a process that uses a focused laser beam to target the melanin in the hair follicle. Lasers use a highly concentrated beam of light to destroy hair follicles and reduce the amount of hair that regrows.
Since hair has a cycle, multiple treatments are required. Effects vary by hair and skin color, but are most effective on dark hair and fair skin.
Is home laser hair removal safe?
Home laser devices are generally safe as long as they are used according to instructions. Possible side effects include redness and temporary discomfort, which tend to subside quickly.
Do not use laser hair devices on sunburned, tanned, or spray tanned skin. Never treat moles, tattoos, or scars.
Ulike Air 10 laser hair removal
I recently tested the Air 10 and was impressed. I’ve already had professional laser treatments on my armpits and bikini, but once I get that hair-free zone, I’ll look at those little buds on my big toes (or my lips, or my chin, etc.) and think, “I don’t have hair.” Hmm…those guys have to go too. ”I wanted to introduce the device not only to the lower extremities, but also to these smaller areas.
Home hair removal devices are also ideal for maintenance in between professional treatments. Now, instead of driving across town and paying a fortune to shave a few unkempt strands of hair, you can use your Air 10 to postpone your appointment.
Think of the Air 10 as painless and all-gain. Even when using the highest of the four settings, there is little pain and the pinching sensation lasts less than a second. That’s partly thanks to its built-in cooling technology, which provides instant relief. Keeps the contact temperature as low as 65°F, so even the most sensitive skin won’t get burned or irritated.
That’s not the only unique part of the Air 10. Its brand new skin protection technology automatically adapts the intensity of each flash to your skin tone, which can vary from body area to area, safely delivering the optimal amount of energy. It also features various modes such as fast hair removal, standard hair removal, fast hair removal, and super hair removal that allow you to customize the treatment to suit your hair needs.
I also liked the Air 10’s wide treatment window. This makes it easy to zap any part of your body. With twice the light source of other machines, the armpits could be treated in just 1 minute (yes, both) and the lower legs in 2 minutes (yes, both). Treatment from head to toe can be completed within 10 minutes.
Nothing is lighter and truly easier to use. Just connect your device and you’re ready to use. You can squeeze in a session while the baby is napping or before you pick up the kids from piano lessons.
As for treatment timing, Ulike recommends three times a week for the first three weeks. Then reduce sessions to twice a week for weeks 4-6, and 1-2 times a month for weeks 7-10. After that, I think you’ll only need to make occasional corrections.
Of course, there are also disadvantages to home hair removal devices. There is room for error and you will inevitably miss spots. It also requires repeated treatments per week, whereas professional treatments often recommend once every 6 to 8 weeks. Consistency is the key to getting results.
IPL technology is also not suitable for dark skin tones or light hair colors because it cannot distinguish between melanin in the hair follicle and melanin in the skin. If you want to get rid of unwanted hair not only from the bikini line but also from below, it is better to have the treatment performed by a professional who can get into every nook and cranny.
Well, I would like to cancel my next professional treatment. Air 10 protects me.
