Now, remember when Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got a pretty drastic hair makeover in August 2024 amidst rumors that they were divorcing? Did you get a hairstyle? Well, in addition to that, in the new photo we can see that he has changed another part of his hair – his beard.
Photos obtained by People magazine show him ditching the beard for good, even though he had a salt-and-pepper beard for quite some time. In the photo, he can be seen dying his beard dark brown, once again making fans do a double take. Now, this sudden change may be due to Lopez’s divorce, but it could also be due to the role. I’m not 100% sure, but I know this. This is his second dramatic hair change in two months, both times to hide gray hair or to sport a more youthful type of appearance.
According to his IMDb, he has three roles in yet-to-be-released projects (R.I.P., Witness for the Prosecution, and The Accountant 2), so this hairstyle change is definitely a no-brainer. It could be because of the role, but fans are once again questioning the timing of everything.

For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck met on the set of the movie Gigli. They soon began dating and were engaged by the end of 2002. However, they broke up by 2004 after canceling the wedding the day before. And in 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony. However, they later filed for divorce in 2024.
