Pueblos — Pueblos can have longer, more colorful hair for two reasons. The cosmetology department at Pueblo Community College (PCC) is selling purple and pink hair extensions for $5.
Proceeds from sales will be donated to organizations supporting breast cancer and domestic violence awareness.
“When someone sits down and says, “My mom got breast cancer and I want to give her pink extensions,” or “I do,” the kids feel good about giving back and doing something. I want to have purple extensions or purple nails because I’m a domestic violence survivor,” said Pamela Graham, a breast cancer survivor.
Extensions are available at PCC Beauty Department from 8am to 2:30pm, Monday through Thursday, until the end of October.
If you don’t like the extension, we’re also asking for donations.
