King has been feuding with Metafor’s Oro Mensah in recent weeks, with each man posting victories over the other. Mensah defeated King on NXT on September 24, but pinned King’s leg to the ropes for leverage. A few weeks ago, King defeated Mensah in quick fashion, also winning with his foot on the ropes.
Last week on “NXT,” King asked Heritage Cup champion Charlie Dempsey what he could do to beat Mensah and what match type specifically would deter cheating. King and Mensah are scheduled to face off on Tuesday at NXT at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, but the match rules were not announced prior to the bout.
