The accomplished hairdresser, owner of My Luscious Locks on Alder Road, has launched a charity within her salon with a mission to help even more children in 2021.

To date, Little Lady Rocks has helped more than 1,000 children.
In an interview with the Oldham Times last year, Ashley said she often hears “stories of traumatic and troubled childhoods” from adults who suffer from hair loss, and how they hide their “very public condition”. , said they’ve found there are few affordable solutions to help them manage it.

Furthermore, she added: “The more children I helped, the more I began to realize that my life had meaning and purpose. And Little Lady Rocks was born.”

But to further fund this mission, Little Lady Rocks has held three winter galas, and last year TV personality Gail Porter and former Love Island contestant and alopecia sufferer Kaz Crossley performed on stage. and served as the event’s emcee.
Now, the long-awaited Little Lady Rocks Starlight Winter Gala is back and will be held at Manchester’s Kimpton Hall on Friday 15th November.
This year’s Starlight Winter Gala is expected to raise even more funds to help more children regain their confidence and live fuller, more normal lives without worrying about hair loss. It promises to be the biggest and best yet.
Kicking off at 6:30pm and running until 1am, guests can expect a fun-filled evening full of entertainment, celebration, and compassion.

This year’s gala will be hosted by beauty influencer, makeup artist, and “alopecia gal” Olivia McVeigh.

Olivia understands the challenges of hair loss and has a personal connection to its cause, making her the ‘perfect host’ for this event that promises to be an unforgettable evening of inspiration and support. He was chosen as the leader of the gala because he is a person of faith.
Guests will also enjoy live performances by DJ and instrumentalist group Girls That Mix and internationally acclaimed vocalists Victor Michael and Hayley Maria.
All tickets include a welcome drink, a three-course meal, and the opportunity to participate in a charity auction, with proceeds going directly to the mission of Little Lady Rocks.
There are also multiple sponsorship packages available for businesses wanting to participate on the evening.
Little Lady Locks has already secured some great sponsors including Loreal Paris, Beaverbrooks Jewelers, Remi Cachet, Manchester Steel and ADS Engineering.
Announcing the big event, Ashley said: “Our final ball of 2023 was a great event that brought together our amazing hair community and supporters from across the country to celebrate our life-changing work.
“This year’s venue is stunning and can accommodate up to 600 guests.
“There will also be a fantastic charity auction and a special guest star will host the evening. It will be the best ball ever.”
