A barber is offering a hair-raising way to impress this Halloween. It’s about sculpting body hair into terrifying works of art.
Rebellious wine brand 19 Crimes has teamed up with barber Dean Gleeson at Ruffian’s Barbershop in Shoreditch to offer a one-off freebie on October 31st.
The service was created to launch the brand’s limited edition Halloween glow-in-the-dark label bottles, replacing images of prisoners with mummies, skeletons and the Grim Reaper.
Dean, a professional hair artist, said of the partnership with the wine brand:
“Nothing is off-limits, and we want to provide bold haircuts that will make your Halloween memorable.
“You can come in and make your suggestions. If it’s physically possible to achieve the hair type you’re suggesting, we’ll do it.”
Dean estimates he can complete up to 20 trims by October 31st, but could be more for simple designs that take less than five minutes for basic stencil designs, such as spider webs. There is. However, if you are looking for more complex content, it may take 30 to 60 minutes.
The article is based on a survey that revealed what 2,000 Brits think is the worst hairstyle, with the rat tail topping the list. On the other hand, bowl cuts, “flier tucks” and mullets were also disliked by respondents.
However, while 32% admit they’ve had hair-haulers themselves, 35% would risk becoming a hair-hauler again if they could get a free cut.
It also turns out that the most iconic Halloween hairstyles are Morticia Adam’s pin-straight hair, the Joker’s green hair, and the Bride of Frankenstein’s beehive.
Chantal McDowell from 19 Crimes added: “We wanted to find a fun and unconventional way to bring our limited edition Halloween labels to life for consumers this Halloween.
“We are leveraging the professional talents of our trimmers and Dean to create some truly gruesome haircuts for Halloween this year.”
