GLAMOR is pleased to invite you to a special day full of beauty, style and inspiration. Hosted by GLAMOR’s Editor-in-Chief, Nontando Mposo, the GLAMOR Hair & Beauty Masterclass will be a beauty lover’s dream.
Sponsored by Long & Lasting and ORS Olive Oil, this event aims to ignite the passion and creativity of beauty enthusiasts. As iconic hair brands, ORS and Long&Lasting have a diverse portfolio of products that address both natural and relaxed hair and meet the needs of health-conscious, multicultural hair care consumers with new natural solutions. I’m proud to be there.
Kavim Raghubir, Head of Dabur Business in South Africa, shares the brand’s excitement about collaborating with GLAMOR. “Hair and beauty professionals, experts, and industry leaders come to learn, share, shop, and network all day long,” says Kavim.
Attendees will gain valuable industry insights from renowned experts and explore cutting-edge beauty concepts and trends. Don’t forget to announce the 2024 Beauty District winners. Our team is very excited to share it.
We spoke with Long & Lasting and ORS to learn more about this collaboration and the future of the beauty industry.
What led you to partner with GLAMOR for the Beauty Masterclass and Awards?
This was for two reasons.
1. Creative Inspiration: Encourages participants to think creatively and experiment with new styles, textures, and trends in hairstyles.
2. Product Knowledge: Educate hair stylists on ORS and Long and Lasting products, hair industry techniques, and how to use them effectively.

How does this collaboration align with your brand’s values and mission?
This collaboration is in line with the brand values and Dabur. We’ve always put people first, whether it’s developing world-class products or solving problems we face across our products. Everything we build is meticulously constructed to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
How does your brand promote diversity in beauty standards and expression?
Our brands Long and Lasting and ORS Olive Oil are committed to promoting diversity in Black women’s hair by offering a wide range of products specifically designed to meet the unique needs and preferences of Black women. I’m doing it. We understand that Black women’s hair has a wide variety of textures and styles, so we offer a comprehensive selection of hair care products for all hair types, from curly and coiled to straight and wavy. I am trying to do so.
In addition to offering products, we also work with black hair stylists and influencers to create educational content and tutorials that provide tips and guidance on how to care for and style black hair. We believe that representation matters and are dedicated to showcasing the beauty and diversity of Black women’s hair in our marketing campaigns and social media platforms.
How do you think the beauty industry is evolving?
Consumers are increasingly concerned about the environmental impact of beauty products and are seeking brands that prioritize sustainability, ethical sourcing, and cruelty-free practices. The rise of clean beauty and conscious consumerism is expected to continue to drive the shift towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly beauty products.

What are you most looking forward to at the GLAMOR Hair and Beauty Masterclass?
Being in a space where stylists, beauty professionals, and influencers can connect, share ideas, and build relationships with other industry professionals. But most importantly, you’ll be in a space that fosters personal growth and development, both creatively and professionally, by learning new skills and techniques.
