Amy Adams is de-stigmatizing facial hair for women with every movie role.
The actress recently spoke to Variety about her new role in the upcoming movie Night Bitch, and specifically explained that the hair on her chin was real in one scene.
“Facial hair, it’s mine,” she told the outlet in what a reporter described as “proudly.” “I thought it was a beautiful representation of the human experience, without any artificiality or filters. I didn’t even need tweezers.”
She added: “My hair just grows overnight. One day it’s gone and the next day it’s like a catfish. Some people might turn away when they see that.” I can’t do it,” he added.

Because Night Bitch is the story of a “struggling housewife” who “sometimes turns into a dog,” Adams’ appearance in the film is intentionally unpolished.
