FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Dozens of students at Explorer Academy in Fargo left class Thursday with a new look.
The school, now in its fourth year, serves kindergarten through eighth grade students with special needs and sensory issues. Students are recommended to the Academy by their IEP team.
This is the first time they’ve partnered with Skill Cutz, and we hope it’s not the last. Our talented experts offered a variety of styles to help students feel confident and refreshed.
Headteacher Justin Liang said: “We were laughing all day today and talking about design. They really put effort into it!”
Kenny Noelsaint of Skill Cutz says: We design for them and make them happy. It means a lot to us.
The barber team spent many hours at the school for free.
“The barber allowed him to lie down, and we held hands. During that time, for over an hour, he did it bit by bit, listening to whatever song was playing. “I was able to sing Freeze and keep my interest in their process,” Leanne tells us.
Noel Saint said their mission was to give back to the community, adding: we won’t stop! ”
Noelsaint added that if any schools would like Skill Cutz to come and help, they would be happy to do so.
