A mum has revealed how she was able to regrow her hair after suffering hair loss – and why using oil is not such a good idea.

However, hair removal is completely different, extremely painful, and can have a negative impact on your self-confidence.
There are as many reasons why hair thins as there are products to combat it. But one mother, Dr. Shireen, has revealed on TikTok how she grew her mane back.
The brunette beauty, who works as an NHS GP, said she saw a hair specialist when she started noticing hair loss and was given lots of useful information which she has since shared on her page.
“What she taught me was really helpful. As you can see, the hair is growing all over my hairline,” Dr. Shireen proudly showed off her “amazing” results in the video.
How often do you actually wash your hair?
Before watching The Wiz, her mother said she was “very proud” of the fact that she only had to wash her hair once a week, sometimes every 10 days.
But during the consultation, the hair specialist told her that this was “probably one of the worst things” she had done, and that she would wash it every other day instead to see a change. I told him I needed to step up my routine game.
Despite having two children and a busy lifestyle, Dr. Shireen implemented this change and her hair is now “used to it.”
Skip drying your hair – a big no-no
Drying your hair after getting out of the shower is a task that many of us dread. After all, it’s quite time consuming.
But experts say it’s especially necessary for people with dry, flaky scalps.
“She said that the humidity after I wash my hair and it’s wet is like a breeding ground for fungi and things that cause dandruff on the scalp.

“So she told me to always blow dry, or at least dry my scalp right away.”
Skip lubrication
It may sound controversial, but the trichologist also advised the mother of two that she should stop applying oil to her hair if she wants to tackle hair loss permanently.
A hair professional explained, “Oil is what clogs many of your pores.”
“She was probably especially worried about my scalp getting flaky, so she said, ‘Don’t do that,'” said the beauty, who hadn’t oiled her beautiful hair in six months. Ta.
“You may feel that some of this advice is controversial and goes against everything we’ve been taught, but the proof is here, this is crazy.”

Experts from the American Academy of Dermatology also recommend eating a healthy diet, limiting the use of curling irons, and using them only on special occasions.
It also recommends using a mild shampoo and a leave-in conditioner.
Dozens of beauty enthusiasts flooded the comments, but reactions seemed to be mixed.
One TikTok user wrote: “I wash my hair once a week. No blow drying. I started using rosemary infusion.
“Turn your head upside down and massage your scalp. A hair mask with egg yolk, natural yogurt and olive oil. My hair started to regrow.”
