In further evidence of the bob haircut’s lasting impact on the celebrity style set, Natalie Portman used her latest red carpet appearance to hammer home her allegiance to the short side. In a hair change likely due to her recent divorce from French choreographer Benjamin Millepied, Portman sported textured hair at the Ballon d’Or, a European football festival held at Théâtre Châtel in Paris.
The actress, who is also a co-owner of Angel City FC, a women’s professional soccer team in Los Angeles, was dressed for the occasion by Dior creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri. She wore a floor-skimming navy blue velvet dress that debuted at the house’s Pre-Fall 2024 runway show in New York earlier this year.
