Korean hair care brand Alivi announced on the 25th that the products it started selling in Vietnam in July have been well-received and are selling well.
In July, Korean hair care company Arivie began exporting products to Gangbok Orthopedic Hospital, a major orthopedic hospital in Vietnam. As a result, the product’s popularity on Shopee, Vietnam’s largest shopping site, has increased rapidly since July, and customer reviews have also been positive.
Arivie hair care was developed by Tae-eun Kim, a hair designer with 26 years of experience. He was inspired to create hair products that were both effective and gentle after seeing his co-workers having skin problems due to frequent use of shampoo. After a 6-month study at the dermatology department of a Korean general hospital, this product achieved a scalp irritation score of 0 and user satisfaction of 91%. The product is registered as a functional hair loss prevention product in South Korea, and has also received the highest rating in the EWG Green Certification in the United States.
The product passed the test by doctors at Vietnam’s Ngan Phu Orthopedic Hospital and was selected as the hospital’s official hair care product.
Ingredients such as shikakai and coconut-based surfactants, known in India for their hair benefits, were carefully selected to maximize effectiveness while minimizing harmful substances.
Arivie plans to expand its market reach beyond Vietnam to Hong Kong, India, other Southeast Asian markets, and even other international markets.
Meanwhile, Alivi will be participating in the 2024 China Hong Kong Asia Beauty Expo (Cosmoprof Asia), which will be held in Hong Kong from November 13th to 15th and will feature leading beauty companies from around the world.
