Thank you God of beauty! Finally, there’s a very (very) effortless beauty trend. No, we’re not talking about black cherry nails or the latest way to achieve heatless curls (which require about 200 hair clips), we’re talking about fall’s newest hair color: Teddy Bear Brown .
“Daisy Edgar-Jones is a perfect example of this trend,” celebrity colorist and salon owner Jenna Perry says of the rich brown shade. Edgar Jones has changed his hair color since getting golden blonde highlights at the Twisters press tour in the summer. For fall, she went more monochromatic with a little ombré around the edges. “This is a great hair color option for people who want a low-maintenance look. That can be achieved by using gloss, or you can play with some highlights,” Perry continues. If you’re visiting a salon like hers (located in Soho’s Manhattan neighborhood), she suggests asking for glossy highlights in R&Co’s semi-permanent shade Quicksand (9.03). I’m doing it.
Model Barbara Palvin, appearing at tonight’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, provides another great example of the teddy bear brown hair color trend. Now, all you need is a matching teddy coat.
