In recent weeks, buzz about the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has been rapidly increasing. One of the most important points of anticipation revolved around Cher’s musical performance, which was confirmed for the rebooted Runway extravaganza. A queen of reinvention and daring fashion, there was no doubt that this iconic singer would be the talk of the town. After all, her fashion eras encompass everything from the disco-heavy 70s and leather-clad 80s to the hip-hugging denim of the 90s and early 2000s. What fans didn’t know was that the surprises would keep coming, most evident in her beauty looks, as Cher showed off two different and equally important hair moments.
On the evening of October 15, the 78-year-old arrived on the Victoria’s Secret red carpet in a cool and androgynous blazer and cargo pants combo courtesy of The Attico. Yes, the steel gray leather look was eye-catching, but what really stood out on the all-pink carpet was Cher’s bright blonde hair. Her rich brown root hair (probably a wig) gave way to golden waves that fell around her shoulders and reached just above her waistline.

To keep the audience on their toes, the Grammy Award-winning performer switched things up when she took to the stage, performing her biggest dance floor bop yet. While singing songs like “Strong Enough” and “Believe,” Cher sported a completely different hairstyle. This time, she showed off her signature black medium-length hair, which looked smooth and straight throughout except for the bangs. These sections are crimped, adding an element of surprise and interest to the classic look.

Her cool-girl hairstyle matched her outfit, and the singer looked stunning in sequined cargo pants and a blazer with a cinched-waist corset-like bodice. Her makeup consisted of a sultry smokey eye, clean foundation, and glossy brownie nude lipstick.
The Victoria’s Secret event was a true celebrity spectacle, with Kate Moss, Tyra Banks, Gigi and Bella Hadid all walking the runway, and plenty of amazing A-list moments, but the show’s They should have left the leading role to Cher every time.
