Drake received mixed reactions from fans after sharing a mirror selfie showing off his latest hairstyle, which features pigtails and hair ties.
The “God’s Plan” hitmaker shared a selfie on his Instagram Story on Tuesday night, and didn’t bother adding a caption to the snapshot, letting the photo speak for itself.
In the post, Drake styled his hair into sleek pigtails, parted down the middle, and accessorized his look with baby blue bubble barrettes.

The 37-year-old sported an all-denim look, pairing baggy jeans and a matching button-up shirt with a leather varsity-style football jacket. Drake completed his ensemble with white Nike Air Force 1 sneakers.
One fan wrote: “Drake is going through a midlife crisis. What the hell made him pose with his hair in pigtails and duck lips lol. Give him a slap in the face, kid. ” one fan wrote on X (ex-Twitter). ) on wednesday.
Meanwhile, another fan slammed Drake’s hairstyle as he celebrates his 38th birthday next week.

A third fan questioned why the father-of-one chose such a trendy hairstyle.

Yet another woman admitted on social media that she would never date a man with pigtails.
“When Drake goes on a date with a guy with pigtails, he goes home right away. I don’t know how much he got, that’s crazy, that’s wild,” she commented.

Despite the backlash, some fans defended the “One Dance” hitmaker, with some comparing him to fellow rapper Snoop Dogg.
“Snoop Dogg had this kind of hair all his life when he was younger, he had these crazy hairstyles, and we all loved it when we saw it as a kid (lol), so I thought, ‘What do you think about Drake rocking his hair?’ That’s the problem 🤷🏽♀️,” said a fan. I wrote.

This isn’t the first time the Toronto native has sported an unconventional hairstyle. In fact, he previously wore a head full of hair clips in October 2023.
Drake styled his hair with colorful accessories while promoting his album For All the Dogs.
He previously opened up about his hairline, claiming that Covid-19 wreaked havoc on his hair in 2021.
At the time, Drake wrote on a fan’s Instagram account, “I’ve been infected with the coronavirus and I’m feeling weird.” “I had to start again.”
