Ever since Margaret Josephs joined The Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2017, we’ve always known her as the icy platinum blonde. In fact, we don’t remember seeing her with any other color of hair. But at some point, Margaret decided to try a new style for size: long black hair.
In October 2020, Margaret and her husband Joe Benigno dressed up as Morticia and Gomez Addams for Halloween and looked amazing. Margaret rocked a curve-hugging black dress with a mermaid silhouette and a head of luscious black hair in Margaret’s outfit. To top it off, the New Jersey resident carried a bouquet of red roses and wore gothic makeup with bright red lips.
“They’re creepy and quirky…” she captioned the Instagram post, where Joe also looked dapper in a pinstripe suit and thick mustache.
Multiple brave celebs took to Margaret’s comments section at the time, with Sunset’s Shahs Mercedes “MJ” Javid calling the match “epic” and Summer House alum Hannah Berner writing, “Awesome. , you guys win,” he wrote.
Margaret Josephs with pink hair
Back in 2019, Margaret played around with her hair color again while attending the Council of Fashion Designers of America’s Love Ball. For the glamorous occasion, Margaret wore a stunning sparkling gold dress with a halter neckline and mermaid silhouette. She also wore a hot pink updo that made us do a double take.
“I’m already having a dream night!” Margaret captioned an Instagram photo of her look.
Margaret shared on her Instagram Stories that night: “I’m going to the Love Ball. The whole theme is red and pink so my hair is pink.”
Margaret Josephs’ past hairstyles
The businesswoman seems to be sporting a short bob with bangs these days, but previously she often rocked two very different hairstyles: low pigtails and a high pony.
“I still wear pigtails, but my hair is very short now,” Margaret shared in the video, which can be seen above, further explaining why she was so keen to change up her style.
“People love pigtails,” she said. “They’re charming (and) disarming. If I go into a business meeting, people will underestimate me, and then you take over.”
Additionally, in 2019, Margaret discussed her “power pony” hairstyle, which gave her an “instant facelift” effect.
“My face was drooping to the ground and I needed a facelift right now, but[hairstylist]Julius made me realize I needed a full-on facelift,” Margaret said at the time in 2019. He talked about his facelift surgery in 2017.
