Jack Merrick-Thirlway. Neville Hair & Beauty’s creative director said there are few ingredients to look out for when shopping for new products to improve hair thickness.
“We recommend looking at ingredients such as products containing biotin, collagen, amino acids, and vitamin B3, all of which can help strengthen hair follicles and promote growth.
“However, if you feel you’ve reached your limits, you can always ask your hairdresser for advice.”
Be careful, too many chemicals in styling products can worsen hair loss.

How can I dye damaged hair?
Are you using too much dye? There are a few ways to fix this without cutting out the whole thing.
Trim your hair: We’re not saying you have to cut everything, but the most problematic split ends should be trimmed. Stop using heat products: Stop straightening or curling your hair immediately. Stop dyeing your hair: Stay away from your hair. We will not use bleach and will start using ammonia-free semi-permanent dyes for the time being. Switch to sulfate-free. Use gentler sulfate-free shampoos and conditions to repair damaged hair. Also, shampoo your hair no more than twice a week if possible. This causes damaged hair to become flaky and brittle. Treatment Mask: Use one of the hair treatment masks listed below to rejuvenate your hair. Sunscreen: Make sure to cover damaged hair. To prevent further damage, sunbathe or swim in a chlorinated pool. Eat healthy for your hair: Drink lots of water and eat omega-3 fatty acids found in salmon, walnuts and flaxseed, and green vegetables like spinach, kale, carrots and avocado. . Some prenatal supplements promote hair growth.
Make sure you also get enough protein from your diet. “Hair is made from keratin, a structural protein.
“If you don’t get enough protein, you run the risk of making your hair weak and brittle,” says Rob.
Another important nutrient for hair is zinc. “This mineral is an oily substance that regulates sebum production and keeps the scalp and hair moisturized.
“Excess secretion can make your hair and scalp oily and cause dandruff.”
