How often should I use The Ordinary Hair Serum?
The brand says for best results, apply a few drops to clean, dry hair at night, then massage into the scalp. I only wash my hair twice a week. Therefore, I was worried that if I applied too much serum with the dropper, my hair would feel greasy. But it wasn’t! I also found this formula to be very lightweight. I was hoping for an improvement in my hairline, so I applied an additional coat to the thinnest areas.
The brand recommends patch testing before use and not using it on damaged skin. We also advise against using it in combination with other products containing direct acids, vitamin C, salicylic acid, and its Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% serum.

I started using this hair serum continuously from June 2022. During that time, I noticed a huge improvement in my scalp and hair. My head doesn’t itch all day anymore (unless I go too long without washing my hair) and my dandruff is completely gone. Additionally, my skin and hair went from dry to moisturized and moisturized.
