Seed to Skin Tuscany has harnessed the power of Italian plants and their advanced green molecular science to create a new shampoo and conditioner duo designed to boost hair’s vitality, shine and elasticity.
“Revival Shampoo and Conditioner was born out of founder Janet’s personal mission to create the perfect solution for fine, curly hair,” explains Seed to Skin Cosmetic Scientist Anna Buonacour. I did. “I wanted something that would add shine without sacrificing volume, so I created a formula that deeply nourishes from the scalp to the hair.”
Originally launched as a premium amenity for guests of Seed to Skin’s Tuscan flagship, Borgo Santo Pietro, the product quickly became a hit. “Our guests loved it so much they wanted to take it home,” explained Seed to Skin founder and owner Janet Tortrup.
“We knew we had something special, but we wanted to make it even better. After refining and enriching the formula, we created a formula suitable for all hair types and scalp conditions. We are proud to introduce a more active version.”
The new hair care formula is sustainably packaged in aluminum bottles and is also available in travel sizes as part of the Traveler Collection kit, which includes two shower gels.

heading in a new direction
Skin care has skyrocketed in popularity since the pandemic, and hair care has quickly followed suit, with consumers investing more in their hair health and building dedicated routines to achieve healthier, stronger hair.
This increased interest has paved the way for the launch of specialized “head spas,” scalp-focused wellness treatments, and brands dedicated to hair wellness. Luxury operators such as Rosewood and Mandarin Oriental are capitalizing on this boom by expanding their spa menus to address hair and scalp care.
