Amy Adams happily grew out her chin hair for her role in Night Bitch.
Adams, 50, revealed she is growing out her facial hair to play the role of a mother in her new movie. “Facial hair, it’s mine,” she told Variety in a profile published on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Or with tweezers! ” added the actress.
Ms. Adams described her hair as “the kind of hair that grows overnight.”
“One day it doesn’t exist, and the next day it’s like I’m a catfish,” she said of the bearded sea creature. “That might turn some people away,” Adams acknowledged.
Elsewhere in the interview, Adams spoke candidly about her character’s appearance, revealing that people called her “terrible” while playing a struggling housewife who sometimes transforms into a dog. “I was like, ‘You know what I look like in life, right?’
