Asheville Police say Amy Rose and her team at Salon Genya had their hair cut because they were working long hours during the storm.
ASHEVILLE, N.C. — The Asheville Police Department is thanking one of the people who helped Helen in her later life: a local hairstylist.
Asheville Police say Amy Rose and her team at Salon Genya helped them and other first responders look strong by cutting their hair after working long hours in the aftermath of the storm. It is said that
Rose is a five-time Mountain Xpress “Best Hairstylist” award winner and is from Asheville.
“This is my way of saying thank you to my hometown and showing support for the first responders who do so much for us,” Rose said.
Asheville Police said they are deeply grateful for this act of generosity and the heart Rose showed for Asheville.
