WWE star Dominik Mysterio has commented on the possibility of a Hair vs. Mask match with his father Rey Mysterio.
Fans predicted that Dominik Mysterio would star Rey Mysterio long before Dirty Dom betrayed his father in 2022’s Clash at the Castle.
Since then, Dominik Mysterio has grown his hair out and Rey Mysterio continues to wrestle with the iconic mask, leading to a lot of speculation about the final match for Dominik’s hair and Rey’s mask.
On Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Dominik Mysterio said he doesn’t think Rey would consider having a Mask vs. Hair match with him.
Dominic noted that he would consider this a “necessary evil”, saying:
“No, he would never do that, and my hair is too luscious.
“I don’t know if he would consider it.
“I don’t want him to have to show his ugly face to everyone again.
“We don’t want to do that to our people, but at the same time we’ll see if it’s a necessary evil that has to be done.”
Dominik Mysterio is currently in an alliance with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan after betraying Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam.
