Kate Walsh changes her style!
Grey’s Anatomy fans couldn’t help but do a double-take at Walsh’s brand new look at Paris Fashion Week. The 56-year-old actress, who became known to fans as Dr. Addison Montgomery Shepherd on the long-running medical drama, ditched her red hair for blonde for City of Love.

Walsh sported a voluminous version of her pixie cut at the Nina Ricci show during Spring/Summer 2025 Womenswear Paris Fashion Week held at Hotel Potocki on Friday, September 27th.

For the stylish event, she flashed a little skin in a contrasting all-black outfit that alternated between solid colors and lace materials. Walsh added strappy heels and an oversized black blazer to complete the fashion-forward look.
Walsh wore white cat-eye sunglasses in a car selfie shared to her Instagram Stories ahead of the event.
“OK @NinaRicci let’s go,” she wrote above the clip.
Her next photo from Paris was a snap of the star sitting beautifully in a floral-print outfit at the Giambattista Valli Paris Womenswear Spring/Summer 2025 show held on the same day.

This time, Walsh wore her hair swept back and a side part for a high-fashion vibe. She wore a salmon pink chiffon blouse under her floral overcoat. Her makeup matched her rosy look, and the actress accessorized with three pairs of small earrings.
The day before her double look, Walsh sported blonde bangs for the Christopher Esber Womenswear Spring/Summer 2025 collection.

She stood out in an emerald green long-sleeved minidress. Parisian actress Emily added an element of sensuality with a smokey eye and bold red lip. She completed her look with black heels and gold hoop earrings.
Walsh’s Paris Fashion Week wardrobe was very different from the scrubs she wore while running at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital.
Her character, Addison Shepard, was first introduced on the series when the double-board certified obstetrician-gynecologist appeared on the series trying to save her marriage to Derek Shepard (played by Patrick Dempsey).

Unfortunately for her, Dr. McDreamy has already started getting close to Meredith Gray (played by Ellen Pompeo), which prompts Addison’s exit.
However, all hope was not lost. She ultimately appeared on her own spin-off, Private Practice, for six seasons before returning to the series as a recurring character in season 18.
In the real world, Walsh announced her engagement to Australian Andrew Nixon in October 2022, giving her her own happy ending.
