Back in 2021, Blake Lively’s first foray into serious entrepreneurship began with the launch of Betty Buzz, a line of non-alcoholic sparkling mixers. But all the while, she was secretly building another brand that would infuriate her fans even more: a hair care line.
After seven years in the making, the 36-year-old actor (yes, we’re looking at you, Serena), whose enviably long blonde hair has become a staple of her most beloved on-screen roles, is back in action. We have announced our hair care lineup. You can also try to achieve locks of at least the same thickness.
The new line, called “Blake Brown,” consists of eight hair care and styling products, including two shampoos and their respective treatment masks, a leave-in treatment, a mousse, a pre-shampoo mask, and a dry shampoo. The collection is priced from $18.99 to $24.99 and will be available exclusively at Target starting August 4th.
You’d be forgiven if you skimmed the product list and thought it included conditioner. But no, surprisingly, Lively doesn’t believe in conditioner, even telling Vogue that she “doesn’t know anyone in[her]industry who uses conditioner.”
Instead, Lively opts for two shampoos, which under Blake Brown include one specifically for moisturizing and one specifically fortifying. In addition to the two types of masks, we will continue to develop these four products as the brand’s hero products.
But for now, you can purchase the entire Blake Brown collection exclusively at Target starting August 4th.
